Torak the Inadequate
Exploration in minimal design aspects that allow 26 different location\ changes to be used throughout the show while telling the story of Torak. (a few shown here)
This design used no spike tape, an alternate was used.
Allowed for the loudness of the scenes to feel rounded within the design without dampening them. Also allowed audiences of all abilities to enjoy as no limits were provided to space.
Boy Gets Girl
Exploration in a design that maximizes the space used and pushes the audience to be a part of the story.
Set also allowed sound to project easier to the audience and not become muffled.
Design uses a large automated rotating platform for scene changes. (Shown below and HERE)
Set used no spike marks, an alternate was used.
800 Days of Solitude: A Conjuring
Exploration in abstract design. Using minimal furniture for easy reuse of the pieces for each scene.
Scene 1 - two rectangular cubes
Scene 2 - two benches and a chair
Scene 3 - two benches and three rectangular cubes
Scene 4 - one bench
Scene 5 - one chair
This exploration also includes the use of projection design in a Brechtian fashion.
